When identifying leaks in a high-efficiency filter, the aerosol generator releases aerosol particles of various sizes and adjusts the concentration as needed to achieve an upstream concentration of 10 to 20 µg/ml. Subsequently, the aerosol photometer will measure and display the particle mass concentration.
